Improper Hygene


The number one cause of bad breath is poor dental hygiene. This simply means not taking the necessary steps to keep your mouth clean. Dental hygiene starts with regular brushing of your teeth. Brush at least twice each day. Make sure you also floss at least once per day. You should swab your mouth with mouthwash from time to time. These steps will help refresh your mouth and get rid of the bad breath.

The other cause of bad breath is gum disease or periodontist. This is a condition that is caused by infection of the gums. An individual suffering from gum infection may experience bad breath even after brushing. The other signs of this condition are swollen and bleeding gums. People who suffer from gum disease also experience receding gums. If you have any of these symptoms, visit a dentist as quickly as possible since your teeth are at risk.

Tooth Decay
